Ben is a native San Diegan who grew up camping, fishing and off roading with his family. Ben started out at Adventure 16 as a customer when he first started climbing back in 1989. He is also an avid surfer, snowboarder, skier, adventure traveler and cyclist.

Greg has been working in the outdoor community since 2004 as an outdoor educator at a number of camps, at the New Jersey Rock Gym, and as a Foot Guru at Eastern Mountain Sports, before joining A16 in Solana Beach in 2010. Greg has been a climber for 12 years and is a multiple Appalachian Trail thru hiker.

Erika has been camping since before she could walk and has many fond memories of heading off with the family in the VW camper and old-school motorhome. The LA-born daughter of two adventurous and active Scandinavians, Erika is just as likely to be found hiking in the fjords in Norway or in the wilderness of New Zealand as she is to be found kayaking in Oregon or enjoying her native Santa Monica Mountains with her outdoor adventure buddies Mark and Loki.

Store Manager: Kevin Craig
Kevin grew up as a competitive surfer and recreational backpacker in the South Bay of LA. He moved down to San Diego to attend UCSD and found his home with Adventure 16 shortly after graduating. He is an experienced Sierra hiker, including the JMT in 2011, and loves road tripping in his Vanagon camper. Kevin has also spent plenty of time climbing around Mission Gorge, Santee and Joshua Tree.
