About Your Experience:

"I knew the 3-peak challenge was going to be long and difficult, but not impossible. I've been training for a big objective this spring, and used this experience as more training. I also just love sufferfests and type 2 fun in general."

Challenge Highlight:

"My low point was finishing Gorgonio and driving over to Jacinto. I was tired, it was noon, hot, and I was almost out of extra water. The highlight was getting to the top of Jacinto with plenty of time to spare, as well as the sunset on the way down. I finished shortly after the sunset - it was still light enough that a headlamp wasn't necessary. Scarfing down a burger at the Lumber Mill in Idyllwild was a close second."
