In 1992 we were celebrating 30 years in business. It was felt that the current logo didn't clearly represent who were were and what we did. So we set to work to create an anniversary logo that told the world that that our name was "Adventure 16" rather than "A16" and that we outfitted our Customers for backpacking and traveling. "Adventure Travel" had become a big part of our business as the Baby Boomers became of traveling age and wanted to explore places world wide that were off the beaten path. This logo told it all and also reminded everyone who saw it that we'd been around a while. In fact "Since 1962."
